Improving infrastructure resilience for a group of insurance companies

VDI on GPU for government customer

Task:

The specifics of the client’s work include complex graphical calculations and engineering modeling, which require appropriate resources.

Solution:

Provided the client with VDI virtual workstations in a GPU cluster for intensive calculations. We built, optimized and successfully launched a project with 80 virtual workstations (VDIs) in a GPU cluster. Each node of the cluster is equipped with a GPU from NVIDIA, which allows to perform the most resource-intensive tasks.

Result:

The client successfully manages the assigned resource-intensive engineering modeling tasks within tight deadlines and without data loss.

Migration of government customer infrastructure with increased security requirements

Task:

Ensure migration of client infrastructure to a secure cloud with increased information security requirements.

Solution:

• organized a working group between O2CLOUD and client specialists. Based on the received data, a cluster for sensitive data is organized in accordance with the strict requirements of IS specialists;
• closed loops have been created to enable seamless VMware-VMware migration;
• migration was carried out to the O2CLOUD secure cloud with the maximum level of data security for government agencies accompanied by O2CLOUD IS specialists.

Result:

The client received a more attractive IT infrastructure cost, increased the resilience of its cloud and optimized maintenance costs. Data is stored in a cloud that complies with government security requirements (security of personal data and trade secrets, security of banking operations and information protection of financial organizations).

Network audit and IT consulting for fintech organization

Task:

The client faced the task of modernizing the infrastructure in order to increase capacity and fault tolerance for the implementation of new projects. It was necessary to develop a work plan for modernization with new equipment and implement this plan based on the expertise of the O2CLOUD team.

Solution:

• O2CLOUD engineers audited the client’s infrastructure and made recommendations for its improvement, configuration and optimization;
• as part of the consulting helped to organize the management network and securely configure firewalls with minimized downtime;
• helped replace the equipment;
• performed all work according to this plan within the network infrastructure together with the customer’s engineers;
• prepared a full set of documentation required for further operation of the infrastructure;
• adapted the client’s architecture to the new requirements;
• accompanied related work related to information security.
